Patrick Tutin, A long time resident of the Peace Country, started his career as a tattoo artist 13 years ago. Apprenticing under various artist’s far and wide and working with many different styles, he has become one of the most versatile in the industry.
Since beginning his venture into the world of tattooing and the lifestyle it entails, Patrick is aware of some of the negative stereotypes and stigma’s surrounding the art of tattooing. Patrick, like many other professional tattoo artist’s is on a quest to change the opinions and views of the lifestyle.
“Now that the public has been exposed to popular television shows based on tattoo industry, they have insight on the professionalism and responsibility of reputable tattoo shop. It is definitely making the industry more accepted and tattoo’s have become mainstream. The demographic has changed immensely, varying from late teens to early twenty’s 10 years ago, to present day where i have tattooed folks up to 67 years of age on a regular basis.”
Patrick moved to Prince Rupert September of 2007 for a fresh start in a blooming community.
